Choosing the right size is the single thing that decides whether a cover looks tailored or looks like a sheet. Each guide below gives you a measuring method, a conversion table and the size to select.

The three measurements that matter

  1. Width. Measure straight across the outside of the arms at the widest point. This is what decides your size, and measuring the seat instead is the most common mistake.
  2. Depth. From the front edge of the seat to the back of the backrest.
  3. Height. From the floor to the top of the backrest.

A note on units. Measure in inches. Our size selector shows centimetres, because that is how covers are manufactured, so every guide gives you both.

If you fall between two sizes, choose the larger one. Stretch fabric tightens to the frame and the extra material tucks away. A cover that is slightly too small pulls at the arms and never sits flat.
