How to measure

Total height. Measure from the floor to the top of the backrest.

Seat width and depth. Measure the seat pad.

Check one chair from the venue's own stock before ordering for a whole room. Venues rarely publish the dimensions of their chairs.
A note on units. Measure your furniture in inches, then use the table above to find the size to select. Our size selector shows centimetres, because that is how covers are manufactured, so the table gives you both.
Common measuring mistakes
- Ordering for a whole room before testing on one of the venue's actual chairs.
- Assuming folding and banquet chairs are interchangeable. Measure both.
- Leaving the covers folded until the morning of the event. Creases show in photographs.
Ordering for an event
Order a small number first and fit them on the actual chairs, then order the rest. A cover that is right in principle and wrong in practice is a problem that only appears on the morning of the event.
Pressed and ready
Covers arrive folded. Hang them or steam them the day before: creases show clearly in photographs, more than any other detail of the fit.

Will one size fit the venue's chairs?
Folding and banquet chairs are close to standard, and a stretch cover absorbs small differences. Test on one chair first.
Do covers fit chairs with padded seats?
Yes. A padded seat adds an inch or two, which stretch fabric takes up.
Can they be reused?
Yes. Wash cold, air dry and store folded flat.
