Measure across the outside of the arms at the widest point, then check that measurement against the size guide for your type of furniture. Every guide converts inches to the size shown in the selector.
Because that is how the covers are manufactured. Each size guide gives you both units so you can measure in inches and still pick the right option.
The larger one. Stretch fabric tightens to the frame and the extra material tucks out of sight, whereas a cover that is slightly too small pulls at the arms.
Yes, provided you measured across the widest point of the arms rather than the seat. Rolled arms add several inches on each side and are the most common reason a cover comes out too small.
Yes. A sectional needs a cover made for it, not a straight sofa cover. See the sectional and L-shaped range.
Yes, on orders over $80 across the United States.
We ship across the United States, to Canada and to the United Kingdom. Available options and costs for your address are shown at checkout before you pay.
The delivery estimate for your address appears at checkout. You will receive a tracking link by email as soon as your order ships, and you can reply to that email at any point if you would like an update.

Email us with your order number and the reason. If the return is accepted we send you a return label and instructions. Please do not send anything back before requesting a return, as unannounced parcels cannot be accepted.
The current window and the full conditions are set out in our refund policy. Items must come back unused, in their original packaging, with proof of purchase.
Contact us straight away with a photo. We will evaluate it and make it right. Do not wait for the return window to run down: report it as soon as you open the parcel.
Yes. Start it as a return and tell us the size you need instead. If you are unsure which size that is, send us your measurements first and we will confirm.
Yes. Wash cold on a gentle cycle and let it air dry. Avoid tumble drying, which shortens the life of the elastic. This is the whole point of a cover: it washes, your sofa does not.
Not if you wash cold and air dry. Heat is what shrinks a stretch fabric, in the dryer far more than in the wash.
Push the tuck-in flaps deep into the gap between the seat and the backrest when you fit it, and straighten it after heavy use. Covers with a non-slip band hold better on smooth upholstery.
Weekly for a shedding pet. It is quicker than cleaning upholstery and it is what keeps the sofa underneath in good condition.
A dense woven fabric rather than a loose knit, which snags on claws. If accidents are a concern, look for a waterproof backing: the backing is the layer that actually protects the upholstery.
A one-piece slips over the whole sofa and is quicker to fit. A two-piece has a separate seat section, holds its shape better on deep seats and is easier to straighten. If your sofa has loose seat cushions, a two-piece usually looks neater.
Yes, though covers slide more easily on leather than on fabric. Choose one with a non-slip backing and use the tuck-in flaps.
